M-F PM visit from Abby

Earlier this year we learned that Paige's cousin, Abby, had been deployed to Afghanistan.  We decided that we would send her pictures, letters, and a care package full of useful objects.  The kids had many questions about what she was doing there and what it was like.  I didn't have the answers so we sent a note in the care package with all of the kids' questions.  The children were so excited to get a letter back from her answering all of their questions and giving us an idea about what life was like for her.  Last week we had a BIG surprise!  Abby was home on leave and she came to preschool to see the kids.  She brought pictures of various places in Afghanistan to show us.  She answered many questions and told us many interesting things.  Abby got engaged when she came home.  Her fiance, Jordan, came to with her to visit the classroom.  Abby will be home for 2 weeks before heading back to Afghanistan.  Her tour of duty will be over in mid-July and she will be getting married in September.
